Our Training Facilities
The C.E.J.A.T.C. conducts its world-class training in a state-of-the-art, 5,000-square-foot, hands-on Charlotte Electrical Training Center in Concord, N.C.
The Training Center features mock-up job-site application rooms to teach the proper techniques for electrical installations and maintenance in all job settings, including:
- Commercial,
- Residential,
- Motor Control and
- Industrial.
Our Instructors
Charlotte Electrical J.A.T.C. instructors bring valuable in-the-field work experience to the classroom!
All C.E.J.A.T.C. instructors have completed a National Training Institute (NTI) master instructors program and are or were journeymen wiremen and/or job foremen during their careers – helping ensure the curriculum our apprentices are learning has real-world application.
All C.E.J.A.T.C. instructors also have graduated from the Charlotte Electrical J.A.T.C. or an affiliated National J.A.T.C. program.
To further ensure our apprentices receive only the best education and training, the C.E.J.A.T.C. only employs instructors who:

Our full-time and part-time instructors are certified by the C.E.J.A.T.C. to teach:
- Motor Control,
- Conduit Fabricating,
- Blue Print Reading,
- PLC’s and
- Electrical Code.
- Digital electronics
- Photovoltaics
- AC & DC Theory
